This Website is intended for use by individuals located in Canada. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, we sell and ship products only to Canadian addresses. We make no representation that the Website, its content, or the products offered are appropriate or available for use outside Canada. WE SELL FRAGRANCE DECANTS: SMALL PORTIONS OF AUTHENTIC PERFUMES AND COLOGNES TRANSFERRED FROM ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER BOTTLES INTO SEPARATE VIALS OR CONTAINERS BY US. WE ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH, ENDORSED BY, OR AUTHORIZED RESELLERS OF ANY FRAGRANCE BRAND OR MANUFACTURER.
All fragrances we decant are sourced from authentic bottles. We verify the authenticity of every product before decanting and do not sell counterfeit products. However, we cannot guarantee that the exact batch, vintage, or formula matches any specific bottle from a manufacturer. If you have questions about a specific product's batch or formulation, please contact us before placing your order.
We also offer curated sets of multiple decants bundled together. Sets are sold as a complete package — individual items within a set cannot be substituted, exchanged, or returned separately. The same all-sales-final and refund policies in our Shipping & Returns Policy apply to sets in their entirety.
We exclusively sell fragrance decants and samples. We do not sell full original bottles. All decants are prepared by us from bottles in our personal collection.

Fragrances may contain alcohol and other ingredients that can cause allergic reactions or sensitivities. Ingredient and allergen information is provided, where available, for convenience only and may not be complete, current, or suitable for your specific circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing the original manufacturer's ingredient information (including any updates) and for using the product safely. Nothing on this Website is intended to replace the information on the original manufacturer packaging or any legally required label disclosures under applicable Canadian laws and regulations, including federal requirements for cosmetics sold in Canada.
Many fragrances are alcohol-based and may be flammable. Keep products away from heat, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest. Avoid spraying near eyes, face, or irritated/broken skin. You are responsible for complying with any applicable laws and carrier restrictions related to the transportation, importation, or use of fragrance products.
Product images on the Website are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately represent the current appearance, packaging, or formulation of the item you receive. We will make reasonable efforts to keep images up to date, but cannot guarantee they reflect the most current version of a product at any given time.
We try to describe products accurately; however, the Website may contain errors or omissions (including in product descriptions, notes, images, availability, and pricing). Fragrance descriptions and note listings are inherently subjective and may vary based on individual perception, skin chemistry, environment, and batch variation. Manufacturer information may change without notice. For these reasons, all product information on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a guarantee or representation about performance, results, suitability, compatibility, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or allergen-free status. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that is found to be in violation of these Terms, including misuse of discount codes, fraudulent orders, or abusive behaviour toward Chimera Scents or its staff.
Your order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
As a small supplier under the Canada Revenue Agency's threshold, we are not currently registered for GST/HST or QST and do not collect or remit these taxes. All prices displayed are the final prices and no taxes will be added at checkout. Should we become required to register for and collect applicable taxes in the future, prices will be updated accordingly.
All order cancellations are governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy. We start processing orders quickly so they can be prepared for shipment as soon as possible. For that reason, we cannot guarantee that cancellations or changes can be made once an order is submitted. If you need to request a cancellation, contact us immediately at support@chimerascents.ca with your order number; if the order has not yet been processed or shipped and we are able to cancel it, a refund will be issued to your original payment method and any gift card credits applied to the order will be reinstated.
By submitting an order, you represent and warrant that (a) you are authorized to use the payment method provided, and (b) the payment information you provide is true and accurate. We may, at any time, request additional information to verify your identity, your payment method, or the details of your order (including proof of address or proof of authorization) and may cancel or hold an order pending verification. We may also use third-party payment processors and fraud-prevention tools, and your transaction may be subject to their terms and privacy practices in addition to our own policies.
We take reasonable steps to ensure pricing and product information is accurate; however, typographical errors, system errors, or incorrect pricing may occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you ordered, we may (at our option) contact you for instructions, correct the error, or cancel the order and issue a refund for the affected item(s). We are not required to honor an order where the displayed price or other key information is clearly erroneous.
We may impose limits on quantities purchased per person, per household, per account, per payment method, or per order, and we reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or reduce quantities of any order that appears to be placed for resale, distribution, or other commercial purposes, or that otherwise violates these Terms. If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will issue a refund for the cancelled portion to the original payment method.
If an item in your order becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you via email to offer the following options: wait for the item to be restocked or receive a refund for that item with the remainder of your order shipped as normal. We will hold your order for up to 7 days while awaiting your response. If we do not hear back within 7 days, we will refund the unavailable item and ship the remainder of your order. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Decant sets: If one or more items within a decant set become unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to offer the following options:
We will hold your order for up to 7 days while awaiting your response. Sets will not be shipped incomplete without your explicit consent to the partial refund option. If we do not hear back within 7 days, we will issue a full refund for the set.
If you have a concern with a charge from Chimera Scents, we request that you first contact us directly at support@chimerascents.ca before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account and any associated gift card balances while the dispute is under review. Chimera Scents reserves the right to contest chargebacks where we have evidence that the order was fulfilled in accordance with these Terms.
Chimera Scents may offer four types of promotional codes and credits:
For an order, a maximum of one (1) gift card and one (1) discount or promotional code (fixed discount, percent discount, or free shipping) may be applied. Combining two discount codes of the same type, or two different discount code types, is not permitted.
Fixed discount codes and percent discount codes apply to the order subtotal only, before taxes. They do not reduce the shipping cost. Your shipping fee is calculated separately and is not affected by these codes.
When a free shipping promotion is active on orders over a specified dollar amount, the qualifying order value is calculated as follows:
Example: If the free shipping threshold is $75, and your subtotal is $90 with a $20 fixed discount applied, your qualifying amount is $70 — which would not meet the threshold. A gift card applied to the same order would not change this result.

Certain fragrance products may be treated as regulated or restricted items by shipping carriers due to their alcohol content or flammability. Delivery methods, destinations, tracking availability, and transit times may therefore be limited or subject to change. We may choose the carrier and shipping method in our discretion. We are not responsible for delays, refusals, seizures, or returns caused by carrier rules, customs requirements, or shipping restrictions, provided that we have complied with our obligations under applicable law and our policies.
Our shipping rates, delivery timelines, returns process, and refund eligibility are governed by our standalone Shipping & Returns Policy. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Shipping & Returns Policy. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Shipping & Returns Policy, the terms of the Shipping & Returns Policy shall govern with respect to shipping and refund matters.
You must be at least 18 years of age or have the express permission of a legal guardian to purchase from this website. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to cancel orders if we have reason to believe this requirement has not been met.
